A beautiful wedding at the beach! The lovely couple was married outside of Talega Golf Club with the wedding cake by It's All About the Cake.
A three tier cake with combinations of rounds and squares was set off with our white chocolate seashells and accents of blues and yellows. The cake looked almost as lovely as the bride, and it looks like the happy couple enjoyed the taste just as much as the design!

This cake was amazing to make. We were given the invitation to follow for the cake design. The sea shells were made out of white chocolate and dusted accordingly to match the colors on their invite.

Now this was an exciting and fun cake to create! We were contacted by Sophia Cesaro of the Galleria in Culver City, to create a Toy-themed cake for their event that was to honor toy Designers from around the World! .... what an honor!!
Being the party was for the Mattel Toy Company, The cake design refelected the different themes that toys are played with. We had barbie and Barbie's house, Polly Pocket, and the racetrack and cars from "hot wheels".
The Top tier was a vanilla sponge cake with a lemon curd with a french vanilla bean pastry cream. The bottom tier contained alternating vanilla sponge and chocolate cake with a Raspberry and french vanilla bean pastry cream with a dark chocolate truffle drizzle..... Yum!
Decadent and delicious!!
We just made these cupcakes. They were inspired to follow the look of the classic "sweet-heart" candies. It was so fun making these treats and deciding what to write on each of the hearts. The sugar hearts had cute little sayings such as "Hot Stuff", "Kiss Me", "I Luv U" and "Be Mine". What a nice way to show your loved one how special they are! Perfect for any Valentine. XOXO
"A compromise is the art of dividing a cake in such a way that everyone believes he has the biggest piece."
-Ludwig Erhard
"All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much."
-George Harrison
"Having cakes as a business certainly changes things for me - I don't now sit at home doing a cake for the fun of it anymore. But it's an extremely happy and pleasurable business to run because people are generally buying cakes for celebrations."
-Jane Asher
"Life for me has been exactly what I thought it would be, a cake, which I have eaten and had too."
Is there anything sweeter than a warm beach day with your toes in the sand? Well, we happen to think this cake is just as amazing! This three-tiered fondant covered cake not only looks spectacular, but it tastes amazing too! Each tier was something different. Chocolate, red velvet and a refreshing lemon layer made this cake a true delight. Our cakes are made with extreme care and love. Every masterpiece is totally special and made just for you! So next time you're enjoying a beautiful day in Dana Point Harbor, come say hello to us, grab a treat and remember how sweet life can be!
Can we just say that this cake is awesome, because it is. It is such a creative idea. What is better than an edible combination of all our favorite nursery rhymes? Nothing I tell you, nothing. It was such a blast to do, making this beautiful imagery come to life. From the detailed cobble stone to the flowers you can almost smell; it makes you feel like you are there begging Humpty to be careful not to fall while a cow jumps over the moon. Awesome!
This week we had the pleasure to create an amazing engagement cake for a lovely couple! The theme for the party was "Sex in the City", which got us cake designers inspired!
We had a blast creating another edible work of art! Each item was a different kind of cake and filling. The zebra package was a Vanilla Sponge Cake with lemon mousse and fresh raspberries with a white chocolate truffle drizzle. The Tiffany box was a Chocolate Cake with hazelnut cream and ganache. The Black Chanel purse was a Red Velvet cake with a delicious cream cheese filling, finished with a stylish heel created from gumpaste.
A truly dynamic cake! Congratulations Desiree and Adam! "It's All About the Cake"!
